Tangerine Dream’s Tyger, from 1987, in their post-Virgin years. One of their very few albums to feature a singer and the last with Chris Franke as a member. The typography in tightly spaced City caps appears only on this subdued American version, released on the small imprint Mortal Records. Other editions of this album use pretty generic fonts and graphic elements. This “TD” logo would go on to have a good shelf life and be used and re-used throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. Artwork by Monique Froese, credited this time as Monica Froese.
