Alongside designer José Carlos Bornancini, Nelson Ivan Petzold (1931–2018) created children’s cutlery with prince and princess designs that were a hit in the 1970s. The partnership between the two resulted in the development of more than 200 products in numerous segments of the industry. Petzold was an icon of design from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
