This “souvenir catalogue” was produced to accompany an exhibition of Sidney Nolan’s paintings shown at the Art Gallery of NSW, the National Gallery of Victoria, and the Western Australian Art Gallery, from September 1967 to February 1968.

Sidney Nolan (1917–1992) was one of the leading Australian artists of the 20th century. This major retrospective exhibition brought together paintings from 1937 to 1967.

Quarto, illustrated wrappers, 40 pages, illustrated with colour and monochrome plates, catalogue list of 143 works, detailed biography. With an introductory essay by Hal Missingham (1906–1994) who was director of the Art Gallery of NSW from 1945 to 1971.
