Established in 1931 by Gustav Meyer, Salon am Stern on Wittenberge’s Bahnstraße 86 closed its doors for good in 2020. The hair salon’s neon sign probably dates from GDR times. The typeface is Brush Script from 1942.

Detail. There is a plaque at the bottom right, probably with the name of the sign maker, but unfortunately it’s too small on this photo to decipher.
