Rūlo is a sushi hand roll spot in Paris, France, located on rue Saint-Maur. We've used Obviously by OH no Type Co. in wide and compressed versions. The typeface with its sharp angles contrasts with the round shapes that are used all around the shop: the spinning menu and shop sign, the stools and even the wallpaper with its wavy effect that refers to the sushi roll. For the Japanese text, we worked with a bold weight from Hiragino Kaku Gothic.
