Series and book design as well as material selection for a poetry series by German author Frank Schäfer, published in a limited small edition by the author himself. The first book, Primspuren, was published in 2019, followed by Stille Feiung and Ohne Grund. A fourth book is in preparation.

Schäfer’s poems are inspired by the work of Paul Celan. The fragmentation and encryption of language is an essential feature of his poetry and served as a source of inspiration for the cover design. The simple and elegant TT Norms Pro was ideal for this design playing with the letters. The textile cover material was printed using screen printing.
