Designer Martin Pecina was particularly excited about Paci, paci, pacičky, an entertaining book about the challenging and painful process of discovering one’s own homosexuality. The greatest credit for the success of this book undoubtedly goes to Daniela Olejníková, who beautifully illustrated a plethora of perfect drawings of little hands, wings, claws, and other appendages.

By the way, we inserted these illustrations into the book in an old-fashioned way, something that is rarely done nowadays, as glued attachments between the individual pages. Thanks to that, they appear beautifully in three colors, evenly distributed at regular intervals within the volume.

Paci, paci, pacičky triumphed in the Beautiful Literature category of the competition for the Most Beautiful Czech Books of 2017. Publisher Filip Tomáš of Nakladatelství Akropolis also contributed to this achievement by providing the space.
