“Nam Yuen – Holiday Magazine award winner. The very best in Chinese food in exquisite setting, combining ancient China with the contemporary. Handsome bar. Appetizing lunches. Tantalizing dinners. December 1961”

Nam Yuen was a restaurant on 740 Washington Avenue, in San Francisco’s Chinatown district. Their logo in Brush Script was rendered in outline for the neon sign.
