Billards was drawn by John Theodore and added to the Photo-Lettering catalog in 1970. A year later, its “C” style – open letterforms with SW shadow – was chosen for the cover of an easy listening album by the Mystic Mood Orchestra. The thin sans is ITC Avant Garde Gothic, another 1970 release, used with alternates.
