Wild Kingdom is a wildlife documentary program that premiered in 1963. Sponsored by insurance company Mutual of Omaha, it was hosted by Marlin Perkins and Jim Fowler and remained on television for twenty-five years. After being revived twice (in 2002–2011 and 2013–2018), a fourth incarnation hosted by Peter Gros will begin airing on NBC Saturday in October 2023, according to Wikipedia.

The titles appear to be based on a Filmtype face named … Omaha. It’s used with interlocking or nested pairs for TU and LD. Compared to the showings I’ve seen, there are a couple of differences. Maybe Omaha had additional alternates, maybe the title designer elaborated on the glyph repertoire, or maybe there was a similar typeface I’m not aware of.
