For issue 24 of Here, Design Director Sarah Gladwell used Akke Poster and Text.

The New Zealand-based architecture magazine that launched in June 2020, during a pandemic lockdown, is driven by a passion for storytelling and great design. Focused on residential architecture, Here connects readers, advertisers, and architects across multiple platforms, offering a thoughtfully curated perspective on beautiful homes—whether a humble cabin in the bush or a luxurious urban dwelling. With an emphasis on design integrity over budget, the magazine values longevity over fleeting trends, celebrating both luxury and humility.

The printed edition is at the heart of the brand, distributed nationwide through supermarkets, bookshops, and independent stores, as well as online via Instagram and the magazine’s website. Since its inception, Here has built a dedicated community of architects and homeowners who share its commitment to meaningful, enduring design.

This issue 24 features five grounded havens:
– Earthen Ware by Adele McNab Architects in Tāmaki Makaurau
– Method Man by Pattersons in Parnell, Tāmaki Makaurau
– Sure to Rise by Johnstone Callaghan Architects in Ōtautahi Christchurch
– Gently Steep by Athfield Architects in Pūponga, Tasman
– Salad Days by Megan Edwards Architects in Eden Terrace, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland
