Unbeknownst to most Berliners, Kantstraße’s status as Berlin's Little Chinatown dates back more than a hundred years. This self-published newspaper tells the story of the first Chinese students settling in the area, the famous celebrity hot-spot Asian restaurants of the 1960s, and the diverse restaurant culture it features today.

Designed in a collaboration from Johann Jacoby and Lea Flemming, with texts by journalist and sinologist Dagmar Yu-Dembski.

This project features Pangram Pangram’s Gosha Sans Bold and Migra Extralight Italic (with adjusted k and t) as the titling typefaces, along with Degular Medium by OH no Type Co. for text.
