Jocelyn Lau is a Chinese American artist and graphic designer based in New York City. Her work is visually characterized by playful choices and tactile approaches, while her process emphasizes intentionality and systematic thinking. She designed a visual identity for herself, featuring a mix of Luma Reverse and Luma Sans. Her new business card matchbooks embrace Luma Reverse’s funky letterforms by playing with graphic strokes to create a cool visual texture. Luma Sans, with its matching letterform proportions to Luma Reverse, is used as the body copy on the matchbooks and her website.
