

The debut album by Jamaican reggae singer Jennifer Lara (1953–2005) was recorded at and released by Studio One in 1981. For the cover typography, designer O’Neil Nanco worked with Letraset’s Manuscript Capitals, using both forms for the letter R.
Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, Nanco studied Advertising Art & Design at New York City College of Technology (class of 1978) From May 1978 to 1996, he served as art director at Bantam Doubleday Dell in New York. He went on to work for Penny Publications.
