In June 2001 Italian company Panini Group published a 32-page sticker album to tie in with the release of the film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (also known as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone). Simply titled Harry Potter Sticker Album, it was based entirely on the first Harry Potter book using woodcut illustrations and pastel artwork. Its product reference was PNIN 0001 and contained 144 stickers; after Panini published further Harry Potter sticker albums, this album was referred to as Harry Potter Classic 1.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products had commissioned Hallmark Cards Inc. to create two custom typefaces for the franchise: Hogwarts Wizard and Ink Pot. Hogwarts Wizard was developed by Bud Braman (based on a style by Connie Smiley), while Ink Pot was designed by Calvert Guthrie.

Both fonts were included in the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Illustrative Style Guide issued to licensees in the summer of 2000. They were later made available to the public on several promotional CD-ROMs including HP’s Harry Potter Creative CD and Epson’s Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Print Studio.

The album uses these typefaces, as well as others listed under suggested fonts in the Illustrative Style Guide.
