Musgo en la Piedra (“Moss on the stone”) is a three-track EP by Cordovan vocalist Gabriela Beltramino and Japanese guitarist Shin Sasakubo. From an article by Argentine website Dequeruza (translated from the Spanish):
In the middle of 2020, while she was stranded in Japan as a result of the pandemic, Gabriela Beltramino learned that a local guitarist was looking for a singer to perform South American music in a concert.
This is how she approached Shin Sasakubo, with whom only one rehearsal was enough to achieve that musical synergy that rarely occurs in an artist's career. The concert led to a tour of Japan and, as a result of this artistic exchange, the idea of recording some of the versions they played live arose.
The cover art features a collage of photos taken by the two artists with their phones. The typography combines Expressa and Eurostile.
