From Wikipedia:

“I Want to Know What Love Is” is a power ballad by the British-American rock band Foreigner. It was released in November 1984 as the love theme and lead single from their fifth album, Agent Provocateur. The song reached number one in both the United Kingdom and the United States and is the group's biggest hit to date.

The uncredited French single cover shown here is an adaptation of the album’s cover design by Bob Defrin, with the title added in caps from Eurostile Bold Extended.

The “Foreigner” logo very likely is custom. It appeared in a bolder version on their self-titled debut album from 1977. Among typefaces that existed at the time, Glaser Stencil (1969) and Yarra (1973) are similar, but not a match. In 2013, Michael Gaines made a font based on the logotype as used on their fourth album, 4, but lighter in weight. This freebie is named Lou Gramm, after the band’s lead vocalist.
