The Dark Tunnel is the first novel by Kenneth Millar (1915–1983), originally published in 1944 under his real name. This is Bantam’s 1983 paperback edition, now under the writer’s main pseudonym, Ross Macdonald, with cover art by James Marsh. The title uses open and shaded caps from ITC Serif Gothic.
