This book presents Yveline Loiseur’s photographic work at the Clairvivre health center, a place where people with disabilities can repair their bodies and reintegrate into social life. A genuine space for care and living, it reflects the major ideological and social currents of the first half of the 20th century, embodying the pre-eminence of hygienism in urban construction, the aspirations of utopian socialism and the theories of the garden city.
