HANYI BlackMyth, which is designed by Hanyi Fonts, serves as the custom font for the first Chinese 3A game, Black Myth: Wukong.

HANYI BlackMyth is a running script calligraphy typeface with sharp strokes. The counter space is tightened and the strokes are expansive. The writing style takes on the vigorous and precipitous charm of running script regular script in the calligraphy style of Ouyang Xun, a calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty.

Calligraphy emphasizes the beauty of variation. The writing of the same character in different contexts is harmonious yet different. However, there is rarely variation in calligraphy font libraries. HANYI BlackMyth breaks through this constraint and provides the option of multiple forms for one character. The variant character writings are all based on evidence, digitally reproducing the beauty of Chinese calligraphy.

The HANYI BlackMyth font has been published and is now available for trial.
