Packaging design for salt which became so iconic that all other manufacturers constantly refer to it. Artemsil (Ukrainian: Артемсіль) or Artemsol (Russian: Артёмсоль) is a state-owned industrial association for salt production founded in the Donetsk oblast, Ukraine, in 1976. The plant in the city of Soledar was destroyed during the war.

The product name (“SALT”) is shown in two languages, Ukrainian (“СІЛЬ”) and Russian (“СОЛЬ”). It uses Granit, a caps-only alphabet drawn by P. Kuzanyan in 1966. The packaging design basically remained unchanged since the USSR times. The Artemsil plant logo uses Granit, too. The secondary font currently used is Arial.
