Amazing Mountain Cabins: Architecture Worth the Hike features over 30 architectural gems hidden in the mountains. The linen cover actually features a hidden mountain, abstracted ridges, and snow. This leitmotif is echoed in the title pages of each project, each with its own graphic abstraction.

The book also pays homage to the mountaineering classic The Ascent of Everest by John Hunt, which employs a similar graphic concept.
