Iconic sister duo Aly & AJ recruited The Collected Works to arrange a system for their fifth studio album that felt as timeless as the music they’re producing these days. Having worked with them on previous projects, we channeled their excitement of having shaken off (but not abandoned) their teen stardom roots and embracing a balanced and optimistic future – and were driven to push this forward-looking album to new heights.

We crafted a system that let photographer Stephen Ringer’s imagery sing, with a color palette that hearkens back to some of our favorite classic records. We peppered the album packaging with tiny details and secret messages to fans – making for a record we hope they’ll pore over while absorbing every track. Everything worked in harmony with our new tour posters, titles for videos, refreshed website, and social media toolkit. When it's not in print, this system can’t help but find movement.

The design system is a love letter to fans, a little grown-up and mature, while still feeling breezy and effortless – like the album itself.
